Privacy Notice
This notice explains what information Still Brighter collects through stillbrighter.com, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Still Brighter is an independent publishing and education project and is responsible for the information described here. Contact hello@stillbrighter.com with any privacy question or request.
Information we collect
- Your email address and consent choice when you request the AI Work Starter Pack.
- The landing page and campaign labels in the link that brought you to the site, such as source, medium, campaign and content labels.
- When a book link is selected, the button location, page path and those campaign labels. That click record does not include your email address.
- Standard technical information that a hosting provider may process for security and reliable delivery, such as an IP address, browser information and server timestamps.
The current Still Brighter site code does not use an advertising pixel or advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To deliver the Starter Pack and occasional practical Still Brighter emails that you request. The legal basis is your consent.
- To record which campaigns and on-page links are useful, without building an advertising profile. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site.
- To keep the website and forms secure and working. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable service.
You may withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it.
Service providers and other websites
Still Brighter uses Netlify to host the website and process forms, Zapier to transfer form submissions, and MailerLite to manage subscribers and deliver email. These providers process information to supply those services. Their systems may process data outside your country; where required, applicable transfer safeguards are used.
Book buttons open Amazon. Once you leave this site, Amazon's own privacy terms apply. Still Brighter does not receive your Amazon account or payment details.
How long we keep it
Your subscriber record is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. A minimal suppression record may be kept when necessary to ensure that an opt-out continues to be respected. Form, automation and security records are reviewed and removed when they are no longer needed for delivery, troubleshooting, security or legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive a copy of your personal information, and you may object to certain processing. You may withdraw email consent at any time. Contact hello@stillbrighter.com to make a request.
You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. In Italy, this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Children
The site and its resources are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 18.
Updates
We may update this notice when the site or its services change. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
